Goldilocks and the Three Hares, written by Heidi Petach, is a fairy tale written from a different point of view. Instead of the classic "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" story, this story included hares, mice, weasels, and geese/5.
Goldilocks falls into the underground home of the three hares while chasing her ball. Below them lives a family of eight mice, who give a running commentary on the activity above them.
Attractive, colorful illustrations flow from page to page, setting the subterranean scenes. Amusing details encourage repeated viewings/5(10). The endpapers of Goldilocks and the Three Hares are white, and half of each one is glued to one of the binding boards of the covers.
Goldilocks is a hardcover, or hardbound, book. There is no half title page, and counting the title page as page 1, the following is. Rabbits and hares are lagomorphs, not rodents. Among various other distinctions, lagomorphs have three pairs of ever-growing incisors, as opposed to two pairs in rodents.
The jack rabbit on page 3 of Goldilocks is only one example of the rabbit/hare name confusion. Like the jack rabbit, the snowshoe rabbit is really a hare. This book is about three Hares that left from there house, to get pizza with extra cabbage. Then Goldilocks comes into their house and tries the big bowl of oatmeal but it was too hot.
Then she tries the medium bowl but it was too cold. After that she tried the tiny bowl and ate all up/5(8). The story has two sets of characters, the mice, weasels, the two police, Goldilocks and the three Hares, I like this version better because it told me two stories instead of one.
You should read this book because it tells you what its like when somebody goes in someone elses house without knowing it and messes up their house.5/5(5). Goldie and the Three Hares by Margie Palatini in EPUB, FB2, RTF download e-book. Welcome to our site, dear reader.

The hares' oatmeal burns, the mama complains about not having a microwave, while the baby chatters about going out for a burrito and McCarrot.
Meanwhile, beneath the floorboards a mouse family discusses eating out at the Mouse of Pancakes. Goldilocks wrecks a recliner and a water bed and then she naps, waking up later to ask if she's home from Oz. Petach practices nontraditional casting and extravagant punning in this fractured fairy tale, in which Goldilocks falls down the rabbit hole.
Relatively straightforward narrative counterpoints voice-b. Another amazing version of Goldilocks. It's a picture book and a fairy tale, but it's also about the funniest book ever.

A classic fairy tale that is about exploring the curiosity of a young girl and how that curiosity causes unintended trouble and mischief/5.
For Goldilocks is one of those naughty little girls who does exactly as she pleases, even if that means sampling the three bears' porridge, breaking Baby Bear's chair, and sleeping in his bed.
James Marshall's offbeat and inventive telling of this familiar tale will enchant readers, young and old."A delightfully irreverent retelling of an old /5(19). Goldilocks falls into the underground home of the three hares while chasing her ball.
